Sunday, December 8, 2013 the Borgo Mediovale di Torino, home to “The Christmas Market”: along the streets of the village will sell gourmet products of Torino and its province and floral decorations, in the afternoon you can watch the classical repertoire and youth choirs of the Christmas Associazione Cori Piemontesi.
Alessandro Felis, agronomist, journalist and food-wine critic introduces three laboratories with excellent products of some Masters of Taste of Turin and province:
- 13.00 – Fresh pasta and beer! Virgilio Cucini (Pasta shop) with its traditional “plin” and “agnolotti al Castelmagno” and Birrificio Torino (Brewerie) with “La Classica” beer.
- 14.00 – An unusual tradition! Christmas Beer (Birrificio Torino – Brewerie), Panettone with Beer produced by Avidano (Pastry Shop).
- 15.30/16.00 – It ‘s time for tea with pastries. The Christmas Tea (The Tea – Tea House) and mini pastries – muffins and macarons (La Cascinassa – Cheesemakers).
