Luca, a graduate in Microbiology, first approached the world of beer as a homebrewer. After attending a vocational training course in Padua, he picked up experience working in an artisan brewery before opening his own, TreebALE in Giaveno, in the Val Sangone, in 2017.
He is assisted in the business by his wife Carlotta Gatti, who oversees sales, and his trusty production manager Roberto Bologna.
TreeBale beers are all high-fermentation and are made using solely select ingredients. They are on sale in 33 cl bottles, in special editions of 75 cl bottles, and in steel vats. Today they are on sale in an establishment in the centre of Giaveno, where they can be enjoyed accompanied by waffles.
The range comprises twelve beers, such as the light but intense Morrigan stout, with notes of coffee and chocolate, the fresh and slightly spicy Belgian-inspired Blanche Gwen, the prizewinning honey ale Honey Moon, and a new entry, the Session IPA Dreamland which, with just 3.5° in volume, is in line with the current trend for low alcohol beers. All products are also on sale online and by home delivery.
