Dispensa came into being as an initiative of Compagnia dei Caraibi, accompany active in the wine and spirit import-export sector. It has now moved its premises in the Galleria Subalpina, one of the most elegant central locations in Turin, but by a few metres to accommodate the deli, whose dishes, courtesy of Costardi Bros, are available to take away or to enjoy in situ. With the new format, Dispensa thus doubles as an enoteca, a bistro, a deli and a cocktail bar, all in the course of the same day. The wine range is very impressive and includes a considerable number or organic and natural labels. True to company tradition, the choice of spirits – among which exclusive products such as the Elephant African Explorer Gin Limited edition of gin made with African herbs and spices – is no less vast. A good idea is to go up to the first floor to sip a signature cocktail, a vermouth or a glass of wine, or to choose a bottle from the shelves – and soak up the unique view of the Galleria from one of the booths. And if you’re hungry, you can order dishes from the deli.
