Everything began in the 1960s in the old Poggio piola, or tavern, in Turin. After various changes in management, Michela Di Somma opened an enoteca there in 2004 and in 2023, she and Giuseppe Poggio moved to their well-stocked new premises in Rivoli.
Here you’ll be welcomed by Michela, Giuseppe and Eleonora Zarauti, a qualified sommelier, ready to guide you through a selection of more than 3,000 Italian and international wines. In addition to Italian labels, on the well organised shelves, it is possible to find wines from all over the world and, in some cases, little known, such as Armenia, Hungary, Lebanon and Syria. There is no lack either of sparkling wines (Franciacorta and Alta Langa), passitos and sweet, natural and low- and no-alcohol wines, as well as liqueurs and spirits, such as Cognac, Armagnac, brandy, grappa, whisky, gin, rum and tequila.
The enoteca stocks bottles for every pocket, unbottled wines in steel vats and sold in practical bags in boxes, Italian and overseas craft beers and a range of gastronomic specialities. Check out the website for the full list of labels and tasting events.
