Since 1915, the name Peyrano has been a synonym of the elegance and craftsmanship of Turinese chocolate. In 2019, the maison, whose workshop overlooks the Po, was taken over by Alessandro Pradelli, who has given it a new lease of life, protecting jobs and the company’s recipes and historical memory, and opening it up more and more to the world as an ambassador for Turinese chocolate.
At the heart of the product range is the large family of individual chocolates, featuring classics such as the Alpino, Peyrano’s very first liqueur chocolate (patented in 1935), the Grappino, the giandujotto, the cremino, the Conchiglia and the Romeo, constructed around the Piemonte hazelnut. The collection is expanded by the contemporary lines Astro, a play on textures (hazelnut, almond, puffed rice) and Vetta, whose bolder flavours include honey, lavender and matcha with a pinch of salt. The Ferrari pralines are shaped like the SP3 Daytona Speedform.
The latest creations comprise Vetta ice cream, single-origin Grand Cru bars, cream spread with Cravanzana biodynamic hazelnuts, kombucha and cocoa Cold Brew. In September 2026, finally, Peyrano returned to the centre of the city in Via Carlo Alberto, taking over the premises of the historic Bar Doria, which will become a direct point of sale.
