A butcher since 1997, Michele Gadaleta keeps his shop under the arcades on Piazza Livio Bianco, overlooking the gardens not far from the covered market. His Piedmontese fassone veal bears the Coalvi quality trademark and is selected from reliable breeders, and the ox meat arrives in autumn. The product range also includes chickens raised without antibiotics, Carmagnola grey rabbit, the pork of the Naturacarni black pig from the Caserta area, and, above all, sambucano lamb, Slow Food Presidium, evidence of great attention to quality.
Be sure to take Michele’s expert advice when you make your purchases. He is always ready to guide you through his selection of steaks, roasts and boiling meats, including those for classic Piedmontese “bollito misto”, with a smile on his face. In the display counter you’ll also find ready dishes such as smoked beef, carpaccio, stuffed roasts, boiled beef and tripe. The products on offer are rounded off by goats’ cheeses from the Capriz diary in the Dolomites, excellent olive oil from Puglia, Campofilone pasta and a small but impressive selection of wines and craft beer.
