In the heart of the Canavese region, father and daughter Remo and Lia and their partner Domenico run their winery with a mixture of quality, innovation and attention to the environment and sustainable production technologies. The grape they grow the most is obviously erbaluce, which they vinify in three versions: Erbaluce, Metodo Classico and Passito. They also produce traditional local red wines: Tucc-un (Canavese Rosso), Trecarli (a neretto monovarietal) and Sust (Canavese Nebbiolo). Remo’s work in the vineyards is fundamental and yields excellent results: hence refreshing, mineral Erbaluces, some suitable for aging as is the case of the Vigna Misobolo cru. Others, such as Ingenuus, made with spontaneous fermentation and without temperature control, exude flavors of the past. The Metodo Classico, characterized by pronounced acidity and lingering perlage, comes in four versions: San Giorgio, Calliope, Nature and Rosè Brut. The feather in the winery’s cap is still its passito, Alladium, which is sweet, refreshing and balanced, reserve version included. The winery can be visited by reservation on Saturdays and Sundays (call Lia at the mobile number).
