Imagine a family-run farm surrounded by interminable green hills, where the dogs jump all over you when you arrive and start barking when you leave … as if they want you to stay. This is what happens at Andreina Serra’s place. Together with her husband Gianni and their children Paolo and Mattia, Andreina runs Delizie Andrè, situated in a corner of the world not far from Turin. The farm has four hectares of land and adopts an integrated production system whereby its wholesome high-quality produce is processed fresh from the fields and transferred to jars.

Antipasti such as peppers with tuna, bagna caoda and delicious mixed vegetables in tomato sauce are especially popular. Condiments include bagnetto verde, parsley and garlic sauce, and orange and onion chutney.

The Sciolze area is famous for its pumpkins and the farm uses them to make a variety of compotes, with or without sugar, including typical specialties such as pumpkin and mandarin and pumpkin and amaretti. Not to be missed are the peaches stuffed with cocoa and amaretti. The range also features fruit jellies, all handmade, but only in the winter months.
