Raffaele and Marco Lepori have been running their business for more than 30 years. No mean achievement for a suburban gelateria that has become something of a meeting place in the local neighborhood. The brothers continue to center their project around attention to sustainability and food intolerances. Hence a new display container, controlled water use and expansion of the lactose-free product range to include new flavors: apple pie with caramel crumble, Sachertorte, 72% plain chocolate, cocoa crumble and stuffed peach, inspired by the Piedmontese dessert persi pien. Then there is a variety of coffee flavors made with lactose-free milk. There is no shortage of classic flavors, plus new ones such as licorice, salted caramel (with Cervia salt) and tiramisù sablé with mascarpone and coffee cream. In winter, we recommend the panettone and Irish coffee ice-creams. The product range also includes an array of semifreddi, while iced cakes (such as the exquisite pistachio with crunchy caramelized hazelnuts) should be ordered in advance. The range is rounded off by granitas whose flavours change on a rotation basis.
