The Enoteca Regionale is based in the historical Palazzo Valperga di Masino in the center of Caluso. Its mission is to be the showcase for the production of the four winegrowing zones in the province of Turin; the Susa Valley, the Canavese district, the Turin hills and the Pinerolo area. It also attends local and national fairs to promote these areas, on average about 15 times a year. About 50 cellars are represented in the atmospheric pillared spaces, which at one time were the palazzo’s cellars. One part is a display area, subdivided by zones, where visitors can discover and buy wines, famous and less famous: from Erbaluce to Carema, from Freisa to Bécouet, from Ramìe to Doux d’Henry, from Baratuciat to Cari. The other part is given over to meetings, tastings, and education, and is available on request to host organized groups that wish to discuss wine-related subjects.
