Green Italy, in the Canavese district, came into being as a farm specializing in conventional organic hemp. Over the years, it has broadened its horizons, developing its activities to include the cultivation of heirloom grains, Einkorn wheat, and ottofile corn, and involving other farms in the area. All these ingredients are processed in the in-house workshop to create the end products, which are made to specific recipes in external workshops in the province of Turin. The range, which is on sale at the farm shop and at markets and fairs, features hemp oil, hemp seed flour, pasta, biscuits, crackers, jams and sauces. Some products are made from the exclusive recipes of Roberto Revello, the owner: they include Canapulenta (a flour made with cannabis sativa), Canapella (chocolate cream spread with hemp seeds), Canapotto (gianduiotto with hemp seeds), Canacremino (two-colored cremino), Canapestum (basil pesto and hemp), and Gentil bacio (bacio di dama with Gentil Rosso grain) and Torcetto del borgo (with hemp seeds and heirloom Verna grain).

The farm has won numerous awards and entered into collaborations by virtue of the quality and eco-sustainability of its products.
