Il Frutto Permesso is an organic cooperative made up of 15 farms. They cultivate a total of 100 hectares of land with fruit trees – among which heirloom Piedmontese apples, a Slow Food Presidium – vegetables and cereals, which they grind in their own stone mill. They also raise free-range pigs, sheep and cattle. Their range of preserved goods is vast and comprises sauces, condiments, pickles and soups, as well as smoothies, cider (Vin ed pum, made of apples and pears, comes in two versions, sweet and dry), vinegars, sugar-free compotes, fruit in syrup and traditional juices, plus mixed fruit flavors such as pear and lemon, and apple and ginger. Recent novelties include spalméla, a Torriana grey apple cream spread in three flavors: with pistachio, with hazelnuts and with cacao. At the headquarters in Bibiana, a new shop has been opened (certified for external retailers) in which they sell fine meats and ready dishes such as bollito and brasato, boiled veal and braised veal, prepared in trays suitable for heating in microwave ovens. The cooperative’s products are also served in its agriturismo facilities in Bagnolo and Bibiana, where it is possible to experience a total immersion in nature.
