Alessandro Moschietto’s farm is situated in the Valsangone. The shop is easy to get to from Borgata Buffa, a hamlet just outside Giaveno on the Coazze road. There it is possible to buy different cuts of meat, especially beef and veal, boned and hung. Depending on the season and especially before festive periods, it is also possible to buy ox meat, lamb, kid, rabbit and poultry. In the workshop below they make prized goat meat salami, produced in limited quantities, salame di turgia, salami made with the beef of cattle at the end of their working lives, cotechino and pork salami. The display cabinet offers an impressive range of meat dishes, skewers, meatballs and a selection of cheeses. The corn, hay, barley and soy used to feed the cattle – Garonne and Limousine with Italian genetics – are all cultivated on the farm, as are the mountain potatoes on sale in the shop.
