Whole organic milk from Piedmontese farms, fresh organic eggs, organic fresh fruit from farms round about, honey from Master of Taste Bianco of Caluso – all the ingredients are local apart from the citrus fruits. Setting out from this first-rate, highly sustainable base, Vera and Alessia make ice-creams with classic flavors such as cream, zabaglione with Caluso Passito Docg, stracciatella (chocolate chip), hazelnut, pistachio, white chocolate, gianduja, cremino (chocolate sandwich) and special ones such as ricotta and candied pears, milk-honey-walnut, dark chocolate and pear, stuffed peach, milled Erbaluce, and orange and dark chocolate). Granitas and sorbets are made solely with seasonal fruit, hence figs, chestnuts and concord grapes in autumn, and cherries, apricots, strawberries, raspberries and Pancalieri mint in spring and summer. The range is rounded off with Sicilian granitas, blended fruit ice pops and homemade fresh drinks. Attention to sustainability is also evident in the way products are packaged and served: meaning biodegradable and compostable tubs, cups, spoons and bags. Open every day from March to December.
