Carni tipiche della zona da Bruno Piero & Gian

The veal of the Fassone calf is an important element in the Piedmontese food tradition, especially in the Monferrato hills, where the animals are still raised on small farms on bran and corn. This butcher’s shop in Casalborgone has been selling meat and typical food products for more than 30 years. Here you can find charcuterie such as cured pork and veal flavoured with Barbera, boiled pork and wild boar salami, and the specialty of the house, salamella with garlic. The shop supplements its range with other gastronomic specialties, such as Piadina piemontese 2.0 (filled with capocollo, pepper cream, salad and coriander), Russian salad, capon salad, classic Piedmontese agnolotti (filled with veal, pork and rabbit), gogu – a raviolo filled with sausage and Casalborgone peas – and the grissini of the Gran dy bric Chivasso hills supply chain, produced in Berzano San Pietro (Asti). Open every day, except Sunday and Wednesday afternoon, from 8am to 12.30pm and from 4pm to 7pm.
