Reviglio

Reviglio

The “Panificio Elettro-Meccanico” was established on April 12 1911 by Giuseppe Reviglio, great-grandfather of Giovanni, the present owner of this historic business in Cirié. Right from the outset, baked products were sold alongside groceries, vermouth, wines and Marsala. With the passing of the years, the range was supplemented with cakes and confectionery, which were the core business from the 1970s until 1996, the year in which Giovanni Reviglio left the bakery side of the business to his employees and opened an enoteca in one part of the building: three rooms packed with wines from all over Italy (especially from Piedmont and Alto Adige, plus exclusively imported Champagnes) and a spirits department where grappas, whiskies and gins predominate). In the meantime (especially in the festive periods), the selection of deli foods from all over Italy has improved in quality and now includes a number of fine craft beers, pastas, oils and vinegars.
The vastly experienced Giovanni is always on hand at the enoteca to guide you in the choice of the right bottle for the right occasion. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
