Stefano and his sons Matteo and Federico run this wine business in the small village of Cinzano. Sitting in a magnificent position among hills that reach altitudes of 500 metres, the building that houses the cellar also comprises a lovely tasting room. In 2023 the Rossotto family, who now own 12 hectares of land, will celebrate a century of winegrowing. The wine is mainly sold in bottles but also unbottled and in bags in boxes. The canteen produces a delicate Sauvignon, which is slightly citrusy, tangy and enjoyable, a good Cortese and a Chiaretto made with cold-macerated freisa grapes. Plus an interesting Marchesina, a metodo classico spumante made with freisa grapes, a good Freisa and a Bonarda della collina Torinese, both sparkling, and an excellent Barbera aged in oak barrels.
The range is rounded off by an Albugnano, a typical local wine made with nebbiolo grapes, an excellent Malvasia made with cold-macerated grapes, an interesting Freisa chinata and a few monovarietal grappas.
