Estate established in the early 20th century by Giovanni Tinetti, who began to vinify and commercialise local grapes. The big turnaround came in the 1980s with a hike in the area of land given over to vine growing, now 25 hectares plus eight hectares that are rented. The cellar too has grown in step with the times and new technologies. It has been managed for some years now by Antonino Iuculano. It uses the erbaluce grape to make two sparkling wines, an enjoyable, refreshing charmat and a Metodo Classico with nice mineral notes, whereas the amazing Rosé Brut Metodo Classico is made with nebbiolo, barbera and neretto grapes. Then come the fresh, quaffable base Erbaluce base, the floral, mineral Muliné, aged in steel vats for 18 months, and the Passito, all honey and candied fruit. The cellar also produces Nebbiolo, Barbaresco, Barolo and Barbera d’Asti with grapes from vineyards in the Langa and Monferrato hills.
